Training Ukrainian doctors on our wound care product became an idea in October of 2022. Talks began and the plan was formulated in November and December of 2022. Wound care treatments throughout Ukraine were (and still are) widely needed. Details were ironed out in January and February 2023, and in March 2023 - ProgenaCare Global’s, John Daniel and industry partner Kris Perkins, President of PhaseOne made their trip to the war torn country. PhaseOne is a wound prep that works well in conjunction with ProgenaMatrix®.

  • Obstacles: The ongoing war with Russia was probably the greatest challenge ProgenaCare Global will ever encounter. Working with Helping Ukraine.US, the International Rotary Club and the many Rotary Clubs in Ukraine - a structured itinerary was created. A series of planes, trains and automobiles carried the two throughout the country. Dedicated Rotarians were guides and support as the team was introduced to surgeons and their staff.

  • Accomplishments: 12 hospitals were visited and 40 surgeons trained in 7 cities on the usage of ProgenaMatrix® and Phase One. Three million dollars of donated product was delivered. Tele-med follow up calls have been ongoing. Feedback on treatment has been highly favorable.

  • Challenges: Logistic issues presented themselves; these were expected.
